Summer Fireworks River Lofi Wallpapers

The fireworks theme captures a Japanese summer night at a hanabi taikai, a fireworks festival: large shells bursting over a river, their colors repeated in the water, lanterns and food stalls along the bank, and a town spread out under the smoke. Riverside fireworks have a long history in Japan; the Sumida River display in Tokyo traces its origins to 1733, and summer festivals like it are still held across the country. The images show the scene without crowds, which keeps the focus on the sky and the reflections.

These are night images with a lot of bright detail in the upper half, so they work best on screens where the icons sit along the bottom or the sides. They make a good change from the rainy themes when you want something festive that is still calm.
