We're a small team (one developer) and we answer every email. The fastest way to reach us is by email.
mdripoll7 [at] hotmail [dot] com (replace the bracketed words with the corresponding symbols, e.g. "@" and ".")
We aim to respond within 2 business days. For time-sensitive legal matters (DMCA takedowns, privacy requests) we respond within 30 days.
For casual contact you can also reach us on:
Social channels are checked less frequently than email. For anything legal, time-sensitive, or private, please use email.
Lofi Study 24/7 is an independent one-person project operated from Buenos Aires, Argentina. We do not have a public mailing address. Postal correspondence is not accepted; please use email.
Informally we monitor email weekdays (Mon–Fri) between 10:00 and 20:00 Argentina time (UTC−3). Messages sent outside those hours are read the next business day.
To set realistic expectations: most casual messages (questions about resolutions, requests for specific themes, "can I use this wallpaper in X?" inquiries) are answered within 1–2 business days. Legal and privacy matters (DMCA takedowns, GDPR data requests, CCPA opt-outs, copyright disputes) are prioritized and acknowledged within 5 business days, though full investigation and resolution can take up to 30 days under the applicable statutory windows.
If you do not receive a reply within 5 business days for a non-legal matter, the message likely landed in spam or was sent to an outdated address. Re-send it with a clear subject line — anything starting with [Lofi Study 24/7] or [lofistudy247] in the subject helps it stand out. We do not use auto-responders or contact forms, so every email goes directly to a human inbox.
If you write about lofi culture, study techniques, Japanese aesthetics, neuroscience of focus, music history, or related topics covered on our blog, we accept occasional guest posts from independent authors. Pitches should include a short bio (real name, professional background, a couple of links to prior writing or related work), an outline of the proposed post, and a sense of when you could deliver. We pay for accepted posts in the form of byline credit, a permanent footer note on your bio, and a do-follow link to your portfolio or social account. We do not pay cash for guest posts at this stage.
What we publish: 1,200–2,000 word essays with a clear point of view, original research or citations, and a tone that is not generic listicle. What we decline: thinly-sourced SEO articles, link-juice pitches from third-party agencies, sponsored content disguised as editorial, and anything that reads like ChatGPT output without human editing. If your pitch involves a product, mention that up front and we will discuss whether sponsored coverage makes sense; we keep clearly-labeled sponsored sections rare but allowed.
Journalists, podcasters, and academic researchers writing about ambient music, lofi as a study tool, AI-generated visual art, or related topics: we are happy to chat. For interviews, please send a couple of sample questions, your publication or platform, and the rough deadline. For academic citation requests (we have been cited in a small number of papers on focus music and student well-being), use the email above and we will confirm the project description you should reference.
Email replies are typically in English by default; Spanish replies are available on request. We can read messages in French and Portuguese reasonably well but reply in English or Spanish unless you specifically prefer otherwise. For other languages, please use machine translation — we will do the same on our side.
We are unable to: help with custom-commissioned wallpapers, deliver wallpapers in specific file formats other than the ones in the download modal, troubleshoot your operating system or wallpaper-management apps, or provide tax or legal advice about whether you can use a wallpaper in a specific commercial context (please consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction for that). For general use cases the Terms of Service already covers the license; for non-standard cases write us and we will see what is possible.
