This is one of the themes I've come back to revise the most, because the setup is so simple it's hard to make it land: a girl, a near-empty cyberpunk train car, neon outside, headphones on. That's it. There's no narrative, no mood beyond quiet motion, and the entire job of the wallpaper is to make you feel like you're sitting two seats away from her, also commuting home, also watching the city blur past.
What I've ended up emphasizing across the set is the train interior more than the figure. The yellow handholds catching neon glow, the way reflections layer in the glass, the specific cool-blue palette of overhead fluorescents — those details are doing more work than the character. The figure herself stays generic on purpose; if she were specific, she'd take over the wallpaper, and that's not what these are for.
I find it works best as an evening desktop wallpaper for the slow hour after dinner, or as a phone lock screen for actual commutes. There's something honest about looking at a wallpaper of a train while you're on a train. On ultrawide, the compositions where the train car extends horizontally across the frame are the strongest crops; on phone, the vertical ones where the city light fills the upper half tend to win.
For variations on this same archetype, see boy on the train with headphones for the male equivalent without cyberpunk neon, or cyberpunk girl balcony for the same character standing still. They all live in the same imagined small world.
